I’m suprised season 3 is already here, time is just flying by *sad face*. Season 3 of Fire Country premiered last week (10/18/24). This show is one of my favorites right now. While the characters (Gabriela’s dad, Manny) were a tad or a LOT annoying this episode, I did still find it enjoyable and a good set up for the rest of the season. I feel a little bad for Jake, because of who he recently lost, but he really should let Genevieve get to know her real dad. Now that Genevieve’s mother is out of the picture, her and Jake’s relationship does start to feel a little inappropriate. I mean, it’s not like Jake raised her, he’s only known her for a few years…. I know that an emotional attachment can be formed but… Anyway, I’m sure everything will work out for the best. Manny telling Sharon to try and keep Gabriela and Bode apart because he sees similarities between them and him, and his ex-wife is nasty work! They aren’t teenagers or even in their early twenties (which would also be kind of wrong). They are like 30+ and madly in love! Please be serious. I’d understand if their relationship was abusive, destructive or even if someone cheated. Manny needs to just mind his business, lol. Well, those are my thoughts on the premiere looking forward to the next episode and the rest of season 3!
